Dear Colleagues!
The non-governmental organization “Women in science” and International organization “Zhinocha Gromada” invite you to participate in The Second International Conference “Women in science and education: past, present, future”. Conference will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine, on June 28 - 29, 2002.
The following issues are to be discussed at the Conference:
Gender problems in science and education, women positions in academic, educational and branch sectors of science;
Scientific and educational schools of our contemporary women;
Participation of women in the development of international scientific collaboration;
Prospects of the education and science reformation in Ukraine;
Women - scientist in political circle;
Historical portraits of Ukrainian women-scientists and teachers;
During the conference there will be organized round tables by topics:
Contemporary informational technologies: Ukraine and world;
Ukrainian scientific space - publishing houses, books, journals;
and presentations of scientific projects and issues of women scientists and teachers.
Proceedings of the Conference will be published.
For participation, please, submit abstract of report (up to 1 page) and information about authors (first and last name, organization, position and contact info). Deadline for submitting is May 25, 2002.
