Editorial

Dear readers!

We wish our meetings be more often because a lot of events happen while the next magazine issue being prepared. One of them is the opening of the "Woman +" club. This is a new joint initiative of the "Woman Plus" magazine editorial staff and its founder - the "East-West: Women's Innovation Projects" organization. The club is an attempt to enrich the relations existing between the magazine and its readers, to make them warmer and heartier on the one hand and on the other hand to form a field for a mutually beneficial exchange. The first three meetings have shown the club capacities in organizing subject discussions and creating a special intimate trusting atmosphere that differs greatly from a usual aggressive indifferent environment. The discussion at meetings goes round key subjects an inexhaustible source of which is the "Woman Plus" magazine. In our club you can meet people whom our magazine tells you about, propose an interesting subject and become heroines of its next issues. If you meet some material marked with the letter "K" in the issue that means that the subject was considered in the "Woman +" club. It is evident that besides discussions of any kind at club meetings people just mix, recite poems, exchange practical pieces of advice, enjoy an excellent cuisine of the "Four Rooms" youth club.

The conception of the "Woman +" club is far from being final. At the same time it is obvious that the club form of work and rest imposes some restrictions and first of all quantitative and territorial ones. In other words only a small number of people can attend our meetings, they are mainly Moscow residents. To overcome these restrictions a virtual "Woman +" club is going to be created on the "East-West: Women's Innovation Projects" site. Visiting its page you'll have not only an opportunity to get acquainted with the monthly contents of club meetings but also you'll be able to take an active and competent part in discussions, to propose subjects for the next meetings.

Our main objective is to make a magazine not only for you but also together with you. In this respect one can invent the most exotic ways of cooperation but still traditional letters to the editors will remain the main one. If you have any sore subjects - write to us. If you moved considerably forward in solving any problem and you want to share your experience - write to us. If you know extraordinary people - write to us. Life gives hundreds of opportunities - don't miss them.

We look forward to your letters!
