Seminar-conference "Social programs of women's non-governmental organizations and traditions of European social-democracy"

19 - 24 August 2002 the Fifth European Feminist Conference on the subject "Gender and Power on the crossroads of the New Europe" will take place in Sweden (Lund).

"Forward to our liberation: Women say "no" to war and imperialism" - conference under that name will take place 1 - 4 November 2002 in Vancouver.

Appeal to the heads of states and governments was approved by the International conference "Women for clean planet".

Organization "Karlygash" (Swallow. Motto - to make people happy), Taraz, is planning to start working with young women, intending to give up their newborn children. As you know, our society does not accept children born without marriage yet. Moreover, when it happens to a under-aged girl? Our mission is to render legal, psychological support, to give temporary shelter to them. Therefore, we would be happy to receive advice from our colleagues and friends working at this problem. Do organizations exist that are working with similar problems? 1. Our first difficulty is that we do not know how to start it. 2. Financial problems. 3. Increasing number of deserted children.
