We are pleased to inform you that informational portal on the subject “Woman and Society” has started active life in Internet in a different way – before it was known as site “Open Women Line”, created and supported by the Regional Public Organization “East-West: Women’s Innovation Projects”. Portal has an optimized structure, contains fixed and on-line sections: “News” (four news lines), “Catalogue” (Catalogue of informational resources “Internet – for Women!” – about 2000 annotated links to Russian and English Internet resources on the subject), “Magazine” (social-educational magazine “Woman Plus…”), “Publications” (full versions of books, essays, monographs, articles and announcements), “Documents” (Russian and international), “Fundraising” (information about current contests and grant-giving foundations and other charity organizations), “Glossary” (glossary of gender terms), “Web-ring” (Internet community – ring of sites, which joined the subject portal), “Women’s organizations” (more than 100 organization of Russia and CIS are presented), “Art” (about women in art, culture etc), “Vital Voices” (portraits and “voices” of women from the spheres of politics, business, social activities), “Open pages” (designed for visitors’ publications – both professional and amateur), “Forums” (about vital for women’s community and for the society on the whole subjects), “Guest’s book” (it is always nice to hear the truth about yourself), “Archive” (materials of 1996 – 2000), “About us” (contact information).
